Granbury is an easy Texas weekend southwest of Fort Worth, with one of the state’s prettiest courthouse squares lined with 1880s limestone buildings, a working opera house and a lake at the end of the street. Land at Granbury Regional, stay on the square at the Nutt House Hotel or at the Inn on Lake Granbury, catch a show at the Granbury Opera House, and drive 20 minutes to Dinosaur Valley State Park, where dinosaur tracks are preserved in the Paluxy River bed.
